ベーシックなシャツ＆ブラウスをパーツ別に展開する婦人向けパターンの基礎本。シャツ、ブラウス共にベーシックな基本形から身頃、袖、衿をパーツごとに紹介し、自由に組み合わせることにより、自分好みのデザインにカスタマイズできます。パターンはすべてシーチング（生成りの無地）で仕立てることで、生地の色柄に左右されることなくシルエットによる違いを明確に比較。身幅だけ広げる（狭くする）、着丈だけ伸ばす（縮める）といった補正の仕方や適した素材などの基礎知識に加え、実際の布で作った作品例の提案もします。パターンは7、9、11、13、15号。即実践できる実物大型紙つき。

Includes women’s simple sewing patterns by presenting lots of parts for basic shirts and blouses. Introduces bodices, sleeves and collars from shirts or blouses, so as to mix-and-match and customize your own tops. By using solid and plain sheetings, clearly shows you the difference of silhouette without being swayed by colours or designs of fabrics. Offers basic tips like how to widen (narrow) only the body width, or how to lengthen (shorten) only the length, and information about materials. Also contains projects using actual fabrics.
